Sidney Neff

2024 Cherry Days Queen Candidate

Sidney is the daughter of Stephanie and Cody Neff.

Through her involvement with the Future Business Leaders of America Chapter at North Fork High School, Sidney has demonstrated that she is an outstanding student and citizen. She served as Vice President of Communications for the chapter, working tirelessly on a website that earned her a place on the national stage in Atlanta, Georgia, where she represented Colorado.

Sidney’s exemplary grades earned her a 4.23 GPA as a graduating senior, and made the honor roll seven semesters running. She served on the student council from 2020 to 2024. Sidney also was a member of the National Honors Society in 2023 and 2024 and was the founder and president of the North Fork High School Environmental Club.

As an accomplished athlete, Sidney contributed her skills to four sports throughout her high school career: volleyball, basketball, track, and tennis. She received varsity letters in each sport. She was also a member of the photography class, sang in the freshman choir, and was an active member of the Future Farmers of America from 2020 to 2023.

Sidney will attend the University of California, Santa Cruz, where she will pursue a degree in environmental science and legal studies. Her goal is to become an environmental lawyer. She is dedicated to fighting for the preservation of our planet, citing her grandparents, who valued a sustainable lifestyle, as her inspiration to prioritize her commitment to the environment.
