Paonia Cherry Days

Gathering Celebration Parade

Join us on Grand Avenue in celebration on July 4th

Nestled in the picturesque North Fork Valley of Colorado, Paonia bursts into a kaleidoscope of color and joy as it celebrates its cherished tradition – the Cherry Days Parade. Held annually on the 4th of July, this parade is a highlight of the town’s summer festivities, drawing locals and visitors alike to revel in its charm and vibrancy.

From cherry-themed decorations to classic cars adorned with blossoms, each entry reflects Paonia’s agricultural roots and community spirit. Kids scramble for candy tossed from passing floats, while families enjoy the small-town vibe. The parade is a chance for neighbors to come together and unite and honor their common heritage. Amidst the cheers and laughter, the Cherry Days Parade embodies Paonia’s sense of community and appreciation for its local traditions.

The Grand Marshal for the 2025 Cherry Days Parade is Lynne Bear.
