Cherry Daze Skate Competition

Saturday, July 6 at 10am

The new Paonia Skate Park will be seeing some serious action this year at Cherry Days. The Cherry Daze Skate Competition will take place on July 5 from 10 am to 4 pm.

There will be expert, intermediate and beginner classes. Expert winners will split a $1,000 cash purse. Intermediate and beginners will receive prize packages. There will be a Best Trick Contest and live rock music throughout the day.

This event is sanctioned by the Grand Valley Community Skate Foundation and is sponsored by SK Bikes, North Fork Physical Therapy, North Fork Recreation, Wheels and Waves, Big B’s and KVNF.

Stop by the skate park on the southwest corner of the town park to check out the action on Friday.
